The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) is a body whose aim is to promote and assure high standards in the profession of hypnotherapy. Membership demands strict standards of training and ethical practise , and is open to those who have acquired the requisite professional and clinical training in the major aspects of psychology, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.

The National Institute of Medical Herbalists, is one of the world's oldest professional bodies representing qualified herbalists. Established in 1864, NIMH is the UK's leading authority on herbal health matters.

The British Association of Therapeutical Hypnotists is the oldest established organisation specifically for professional hypnotherapists having been formed in 1951 and was the first properly constituted body for Professional Hypnotherapists in the U.K.

The National Federation of Spiritual Healers was founded in 1954 and is the principle organisation for spiritual healing in the United Kingdom. It is a registered charity governed by a board of trustees drawn from the membership.

The American Herbalists Guild (AHG) was founded in 1989 as a non-profit, educational organization to represent the goals and needs of herbalists specializing in the medicinal use of plants. Its primary goal is to promote a high level of professionalism and education in the study and practise of therapeutic herbalism.

The UK Reiki Federation is one of the largest independent federations of individuals who have been attuned to Reiki, with the objective of forming a national umbrella organisation for education, training and guidance in the public practice of Reiki. Established in 1999 it is renowned for its standards of excellence in the practise of Reiki.
